FRED SANTAMBROGIO_STAGE DIRECTOR
Degree in Theatre and Music at University of Milano and Master in Stage Direction at Teatro alla Scala Academy.
They have directed several classical operas and drama performances, in Italy and abroad, and several contemporary operas.
In 2014 they founded Op.64, the first Contemporary Opera Company in Italy, with M°Pilar Bravo producing and promoting contemporary opera.
In 2019 they directed the opening ceremony of the 24th World Energy Congress in Abu Dhabi for Kiwi Events.
They won several prizes as Dimitri Mitropoulos Competition for Contemporary Opera with Il bosco, una notte di mezza estate. Music by Francesco Venerucci, libretto by Daniela Morelli from A Midsummer Night’s Dream (3rd prize); Ring Award of Gratz with a conception ofNozze di Figaro by Mozart. They’ve collaborated with Cirque du Soleil for the South Arabia National Day, with Shanghai Opera House, Rossini Opera Festival and Elisabeth Sombart and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and The Center for Contemporary Opera in NYC
